How to play Craps - Rules

The game is divided into rounds. The first roll is called the "Come Out Roll". The player that rolls the dice is called the "Shooter". At the beginning of the game you place a bet by clicking in the appropriate spot on the table. The green color indicates bets that can be placed, the red one - the unavailable ones. To recall the chosen bet, you just have to click it again. When you have already chosen the bet, you can start playing. To do so, just press the "Roll" button. When the dice stop, all is clear. If the sum of the come out roll is 2, 3, 7, 11 or 12, the round ends immediately. If any other total is rolled, that number is called "the point" and the game continues. Then the dice will be rolled until the same "point" is rolled again or a 7. Depending on the chosen bet, the way and the aim of the game are being changed. When the game is over, loosing bets are removed from the table, and winning bets are paid out. The game can be started again. If the player wants to place the same bet, he just has to click the "Repeat Bet" button. Now more about bets, see how to play Craps.

Pass Line It is the most popular bet, the house edge is only 1,41%. If in "Come Out Roll" 7 or 11 is rolled, the bet wins, if it is 2, 3 or 12 - the bet looses. The game is being continued, if any other number is rolled (point). The player rolls the dice until the same point is rolled again - then he wins, or until 7 is rolled - then he looses.
Don`t pass The opposite of the "Pass Line" bet. If the "Come Out Roll" is a 2 or 3, then you win, a 7 or 11 makes you lose. A 12 is a push. If any other number (point) is rolled, the dice are rolled over and over until either "the point", or a 7 is rolled. If the 7 comes before "the point", you win.
Come "Come" bet is very similar to the "Pass Line" bet, but the difference is that it may be taken any time after having a "point". To do so, you should put the chips (click) in the middle of the spot "come". Then the next roll will be either a winning one (when the "point" comes out), a failure (in case of rolling out 7, 11, 2, 3 or 12), or it can set a new point - called "come point". If the player hits the "come point" before 7, he wins, otherwise, he loses.
Don`t Come The opposite of the "Come". If the "Come Out Roll" is a 2 or 3 then you win, 7 or 11 - you lose, 12 - means a tie. Any other number becomes "come point". If "come point" hits before a 7 - you win, if "come point" is the first one - you lose.
Buying the Odds The"Buy" bet consists of "buying" the number that has to be rolled before a 7. However, this number consists of more than one rolls (usually two). This bet diminishes the house edge and increases the winning, but you have to pay commission (5%).
The proportion of the bet to the prize is the following:
  • 5:6 - if "point" is 6 or 8
  • 2:3 - if "point" is 5 or 9
  • 1:2 - if "point" is 4 or 10
Laying the Odds The opposite of the "Buy" bet. A 7 must be rolled before the chosen number. The winnings are the same as in case of the "Buy" bet.
