Baccarat is an exciting game, where everything depends on a stroke of luck. Regardless of the time played and the experience of the players, all of them have even odds. So, how to play Baccarat?
The objective
The object of the game is to foresee, whose hand is going to win, that is gain a card total as close to 9 as possible.
Rules
At the beginning of the game you place the bet, and choose the hand of the player, banker or a tie, by clicking on the right icon "player", "banker", "tie". The player and the banker get two cards each. Points of the cards numbered 2 - 9 are counted at face value. The Aces are worth 1 point, tens, Jack, Queen and King - 0 points. Later on the player should act according to the following rules:
- Take the third card, if the total of the fist two cards doesn`t exceed 5.
- Don`t pick the third card, if the total of the first two cards equals 6 or 7, or if the value of the first two cards is 8 or 9 (so called "natural hand").
Actions of the dealer depend on the card chosen by the player.
The banker takes the card if:
- the total of his first cards is not higher than 2,
- the total of his first cards equals 3 and the player took any card apart from 8,
- the total of his first cards equals 4 and the player took one of the cards: 2,3,4,5,6,7,
- the total of his first cards equals 5 and the player took 4,5,6 or 7,
- the total of his first cards equals 6 and the player took 6 or 7,
Winning Systems
No one will probably teach you how to play baccarat better. The drawing of cards is purely a matter of chance. Working out the strategy won`t be helpful. However, still there are some advantages. Thanks to it, the players have even odds.
- If we were betting on the player`s hand, the premium is paid as of 1:1, in this particular case the casino`s advantage is 1,36%.
- Betting on the banker`s hand, the premium is also paid as of 1:1, but the commission amounts to 5%. You pay it when you leave the table. However, it makes the player`s chances bigger. The advantage of the casino is 1,17%.
- The right betting in the area marked "tie" pays at 8:1 ($6 for every $1 you bet). The tie happens very seldom, because the casino`s advantage is 14.1%.
